Description of Magnesia Carbon Bricks
Magnesia carbon brick is a non-burning carbon composite refractory material which is made of magnesium oxide and flake graphite as main raw materials, various non-oxide additives and carbonaceous binder. Magnesia carbon bricks are mainly used for the lining of converters and electric arc furnaces, and slag lines of ladle furnaces.
As a composite refractory material, magnesia carbon brick effectively utilizes the strong resistance to slag corrosion of magnesia and the high thermal conductivity and low expansion of carbon, which compensates for the biggest disadvantage of poor flaking resistance of magnesia.
Features of Magnesia Carbon Bricks :
1.Strong resistance to high temperature 2.Strong slag resistance 3.Strong thermal shock resistance 4.Low creepat high temperature
We Rongsheng use the following ways to expand the service life of magnesia carbon bricks:
1.High quality fused magnesia as main raw material 2.Improve the purity of graphite 3.Add metal antioxidants
